The Story
Tudor's Pelagos FXD Chrono builds on the brand's deep connection with the French Marine Nationale, evolving the fixed-bezel dive watch concept into a purpose-built chronograph. Launched as part of Tudor's professional instrument watch lineage, it combines military-grade functionality with manufacture movement technology.
The 42.3mm case blends titanium and carbon composite construction, delivering exceptional strength-to-weight ratio suited to demanding environments. The fixed ceramic bezel carries a 60-minute graduated scale, and a sapphire crystal provides scratch-resistant dial protection. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres.
The navy blue dial features luminous hour markers and hands with Tudor's signature snowflake hour hand, ensuring legibility in low-light conditions. Chronograph subdials track elapsed time, with a running seconds counter complementing the totaliser.
Inside, the manufacture calibre MT5813 — a column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph movement — beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a 70-hour power reserve. It carries COSC chronometer certification and features a silicon balance spring for enhanced accuracy and antimagnetic resistance.
The navy blue fabric strap integrates with the case's angular profile, secured by a titanium deployant clasp with fine adjustment.
Excellent condition from 2023 means minimal wear — expect light surface marks on the case and strap, maintained in nearly new condition. Comes complete with original box and original papers. Five-year manufacturer's warranty active until September 2028.
A chronograph built for genuine field use, combining Tudor's military heritage with modern manufacture movement technology.
